とあるウェールズの歌

偶然聞いた曲にものすごく惹きつけられることって、あるはず。

もちろんポップやロック音楽でもそれはありうるのだろうけど、自分の場合は、外国の、何十年も前から歌われているような古い曲にひきつけられることが多い。

今回は、Voicesというアルバムの、The Blue　Mountain Male Chorusが歌う「Calon Lan」というイギリス・ウェールズの曲に虜になった。

いい、すごくいい。男声合唱最高。歌い方荘厳。ウェールズ語分からないけどカッコイイｗ。その魅力をここで伝えられないのが残念。せめて歌詞だけでも。イギリスのラグビーでも歌われるそうです。
